Max, Full-Time Facility Dog

Alex is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a master’s degree in counseling and a deep history of service in community mental health. He has walked alongside people of all ages and backgrounds, offering a steady presence and affirming care. His work is grounded in the belief that healing begins with being truly seen—and that every person deserves a place where they can safely grow.

Passionate about supporting individuals who face discrimination or marginalization due to their identity, Alex helps clients strengthen their roots of self-worth while building bridges toward connection and resilience. In addition to his clinical practice, he is pursuing his PhD with research focused on clinical psychology, sex therapy, and counseling. He is passionate about his work with LGBTQI+ populations.

Alex also serves as a board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Montana Chapter (AFSP MT), bringing both compassion and advocacy to his role. At Keystone Wellness, he facilitates the Roots and Rainbows groups every Sunday, a space for authenticity, affirmation, and community.

When he’s not working or studying, Alex cherishes time with his family and three pets—Puca, Buckwheat, and Coda. He has limited availability for new clients on Thursdays and welcomes inquiries about his practice and group offerings.

Alysha is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Social Worker (MSW) located in Billings who brings warmth, depth, and compassion to her work with adults of all ages. With a background in nursing and specialized experience in aging populations, grief, and loss, she understands the emotional and systemic complexities that come with life transitions.

Drawing from both her clinical and lived experience, Alysha meets clients exactly where they are—believing that healing begins when people feel seen and supported. Her trauma-informed approach blends a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet each person’s unique needs.

With a strong focus on telehealth, Alysha helps bridge the gap to accessible care for individuals who may otherwise face barriers to support. At Keystone Wellness, she embodies our mission of providing equitable, compassionate care that connects people to hope and healing.

Outside of her professional role, Alysha enjoys raising her children with her husband and finding joy in the everyday moments of family life. She has limited availability for new clients, typically during early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

Jasmine is a recent graduate with her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Carroll College, bringing both fresh perspective and years of hands-on experience working with youth and families. Born and raised in Montana, she has a deep understanding of the unique strengths and challenges faced by those living in rural and remote areas, and she is dedicated to making quality mental health care accessible to underserved communities.

Before pursuing social work, Jasmine built a career in marketing and now draws on both her creativity and clinical training to serve her clients in thoughtful and innovative ways. She offers telehealth sessions and has limited availability during afternoons and evenings.

When she does find time away from work, Jasmine enjoys relaxing with a good book and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.

Max is a black doodle with a big heart and an even bigger purpose. Rescued from the local shelter, he quickly discovered that offering comfort and connection was his calling. From providing deep pressure and resting gently at clients’ feet to honoring space and boundaries for those who need it, Max has an uncanny sense for what each person requires in the moment.

As part of the Keystone Wellness team, Max embodies the spirit of compassion and calm that holds our work together. You’ll often find him greeting guests at community events, lending quiet support during group sessions, or wagging his tail at art nights and fundraisers—reminding everyone that healing can be both soft and joyful.

When he’s off duty, Max is an explorer at heart. He loves bike rides, car rides, getting out on the water on the kayak, and discovering new trails—living proof that curiosity and care can go hand in paw.

Sam Holmes, CBHPSS

Rooted deeply in the Helena community, Sam brings over 15 years of experience walking beside others in behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, job coaching, and crisis intervention. As both a Certified Peer Support Specialist and an Herbalist, she blends professional knowledge with lived experience—creating a bridge between healing and hope. Her approach is grounded in connection: to self, to nature, and to the community that sustains us.

At Keystone Wellness, Sam helps clients connect with essential resources and support while cultivating spaces where belonging can take root. Whether she’s organizing free community events, leading foraging groups that celebrate the land, or advocating for individuals on their recovery journeys, her work reflects a deep belief in shared growth and mutual care.

Beyond her role at Keystone, Sam is an author and devoted mom of two who finds renewal in the natural world. Her passion for herbs, storytelling, and community healing continues to grow—much like the wildflowers she helps others discover along the way.

Cheyanne Loney, MSW

Cheyanne recently earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Montana, with a focus on macro practice and systems transformation. A proud Little Shell Chippewa woman, she approaches her work through a lens shaped by cultural resilience, spiritual depth, and a deep commitment to collective care. For Cheyanne, social work is more than a profession; it’s a calling to dismantle harmful systems and co-create spaces where healing, dignity, and connection are possible.

At Keystone Wellness, she supports care coordination with clients and fosters community partnerships throughout the Helena area. Her work reflects the organization’s mission to serve as a keystone in Montana’s mental health ecosystem; holding the fragmented pieces of care together so people aren’t left to navigate the cracks alone.

Rooted in Helena, Cheyanne draws strength from her relationships, her culture, and the land that raised her. Outside of work, she finds joy in time with her partner, tending her garden, engaging in spiritual practice, and cheering on the growing local rugby team, a sport she loves for its embodiment of grit, mutual support, and embodiment of community.

Jen, Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Keystone Wellness, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience serving clients of all ages across a variety of settings. She holds a Doctor and Master of Social Work (DSW, MSW).

In recent years, her focus has expanded to macro-level social work, where she has supported organizations in leadership development, cultural change, research, and program evaluation. Alongside her clinical work, Jen is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Doctor of Social Work program at Walla Walla University.

She describes her role as Clinical Director at Keystone Wellness as one of the best ways she can dedicate her time outside of academia—supporting an organization that identifies gaps in services and creates innovative solutions for equitable mental health care. Jen has limited availability for employee assistance program (EAP) services, particularly for First Responders through Sapphire Resources, as well as short-term therapy.
